Moto g4 play

There are plenty of Android phones out there with some top of the line costing over $600. However, if you don’t need all the bells and whistles of expensive phones and want to save some of your hard earned money then below is a list of top five budget phones all priced below $200 as of January 2017.

1.  Motorola Moto G 4 Play

Excellent Budget phone from Motorola that does everything you probably need it for.

Pros:

  • Supports both GSM and CDMA so can be used virtually all over the world and makes an excellent travel phone.
  • 8mp camera

Cons:

  • Lacks NFC sensor.
  • Price: $149 though it has been on sale for as low as $99

2. Motorola Moto G4 

This is a slightly better version of G4 Play. Don’t confuse it with G4 Play.

Pros:

  • 5.5 inch screen (slightly larger than play version)
  • 13mp front camera

Cons:

  • Lacks NFC

Cons

  • GSM only
  • No NFC

There you have it. You may have noticed that all of them lack the NFC sensor which is required for android pay and such but if you can live without it these are the best budget phones.
